Early Morning Lake Dauterive Mist in Cypress

A tour that focuses on photographing ancient cypress trees in the landscape of Southern Louisiana. We shoot beautiful rust-covered Cypress Trees in the swamp waters of Southern Louisiana. This time of year also frequently brings foggy conditions providing ethereal landscapes within the swampland.

The tour includes three days of shooting with several boat tours off the beaten path in swamplands. The tour includes three power boat trips into old-growth cypress trees, three on-shore photo shoots at Lake Martin with sunsets and cypress scenes, and frequent opportunities to photograph owls, hawks, and wading birds.

The number of participants is limited to five due to the boats we used to get into the best photo locations.

The tour is $1599 and includes a morning brown bag meal. Tour headquarters is the Holiday Inn Express in Breaux Bridge / Henderson, Louisiana. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remaining $1399 due 60 days before the trip.
