I Photograph this scene on almost every photo tour. This years was great, taken just before sunset at the boat launch I had good color and light with interesting clouds on the right side of the image. This is one of my favorite spots at Lake Martin and I enjoy looking at the changes from year to year.
This was taken early in the morning prior to sunrise catching the yellow glow in the sky. This was taken on a very windy morning with choppy waves on this beautiful morning.
The second sunrise shot. I was able to frame the sunrise with the branch of a large cypress tree. The glow in the sky was from the smoke of a nearby sugarcane processing plant.

This is a black-and-white image of a cypress tree along the bank of Lake Dauterive. The black-and-white conversion was done using a luminosity mask utilizing a lights-two mask rasterized, eliminating the unwanted darker tones in the image.
A different photoshop interpretation of the same image as the preceeding one. The image was turned into black and white, the background was darkened and the original version of the tree was masked back into the image.

The moss was backlit yielding this high contrast image of the Moss.
