Join us for a Louisiana Spring Bird Photography Tour.
Explore the wonders of Louisiana's spring bird photography with our exclusive tour. This tour offers a chance to capture stunning images of the state's diverse bird species in their natural habitats.
Tour Highlights:
Nesting Wading Birds: The tour focuses on nesting wading birds in Southwestern Louisiana, a region known for its abundance of these magnificent creatures. The tour is scheduled to coincide with their nesting season for optimal photography opportunities.
Exclusive Access: Participants will visit several bird rookeries, some accessible by boat for up-close encounters and others conveniently located near the road for easy access. The boats used are powered by outboard motors and custom-designed for use in the swamps of Louisiana, allowing access to out-of-the-way locations and not requiring paddling by the participant.
Nesting Osprey: The tour includes photographing nesting Osprey in a natural setting. These impressive birds nest atop Cypress trees in the Atchafalaya Basin, providing picturesque scenes for photographers.
Landscapes: Although the tour focuses on photographing birds, we will also capture landscapes when the chance comes up.
