This final spring tour hits peak chick activity. Nesting is wrapping up for some species, while others are still in full swing. Chicks are more visible, often perched on open branches, and you’ll have excellent opportunities for interaction and feeding behavior. Roseate Spoonbills are more likely to be present and nesting by this date.

Bird Photography: Southwestern Louisiana is a birdwatcher's paradise, home to diverse species. From the majestic great egrets and roseate spoonbills to the elusive prothonotary warblers, you'll have countless opportunities to capture these beautiful creatures in their natural habitats. Several days will be spent at our Wading Bird Rookeries and we will also photograph Osprey as they go to and from their nest atop magestic Cypress Trees.
Scenic Landscapes: The tour will take you through the region's most breathtaking landscapes, including lush wetlands, serene bayous, and sprawling marshes. Learn how to compose stunning shots of these natural wonders with expert guidance on lighting and techniques.
Expert Guidance: Our seasoned guides, well-versed in photography and the local ecosystem, will provide personalized instruction and insights to help you hone your skills and make the most of every shot.
