Black Crowned Night Heron in Cypress Tree

This week's photo was taken on one of my 2023 Fall Tours. Usually, we focus on Cypress Trees in the fog or mist, but if there's an excellent opportunity to photograph an interesting bird, we take it. This Black Crowned Night Heron was easily approachable in the waters of Lake Martin, and we captured many excellent photographs.
