Website
I've been using a Web site my son developed many years ago. Great site, but the update process was onerous. Brian, my son, has moved on and is no longer developing sites. While I know a bit of HTML, I really want to be behind a camera not a computer. So over the past month I bit the bullet, went through my files, picked 25 top images. I signed up for Squarespace and have spent the past week getting everything in place. I moved much of the Article content onto the blog page and with the much simpler interface, I have no excuses, so I expect to be posting much more often. There's a comment section on the blog, so it is easy to let me know what you do and do not like.
Navigation is pretty simple, with portfolio, tour, and blog pages. You can also sign up for the newsletter as well.
I'm also moving the email list to MailChimp to get a better handle on that process as well. If you were receiving the emails in that past you should still get them. There's an easy way to unsubscribe so if you no longer wish to receive the emais simply select the unsubscribe option.
April 14–19 Tour
Everything is set for next weeks tour, and I can't wait to get back out there. I did a sweep of the locations several weeks ago and things are looking good. Thre wer Roeseate Spoonbills at both Talons Landing Road and Jefferson Island, and there is plenty of water in Millers Lake. However, it doesn't look like Cow Island Lake is going to be an option for this trip due to water levels. It's shaping up as a good year of photography.
