Photo Activities
Winter here slows my photoactivity. I spend time working with my equipment, editing images created during the year, and photographing at home. I've been going through my lens and checking the autofocus tuning. The software I use, Reikan Focal, added a lens stabilization test witch I've been testing. While there are a couple of glitches, I'm working on resolving them. I.m looking forward to determining when to handhold and when to use Vibration reduction for each of my lenses.
Annually I get a Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker visiting my yard, and I spent several hours capturing the image below.
Photo Locations
Cazan Lake, where we photograph Great Egrets and Roseate Spoonbills on the Spring Tours, has reopened this spring after being closed due to the Covid Crises. The Egrets have taken up residence again and are building nests. I haven't gotten up there yet, but expect to go soon. Here are a couple of images from last March.
