Hurricane Ida
A serious hurricane struct Houma, Louisiana where I live, and we have evacuated out of state. Fortunately, the house appears undamaged. The locations where we will be photographing were east of the storm's path and should be unaffected, and I will be conducting the tours as planned. I intended to post a longer newsletter, but not having access to my desktop machine is limiting what I post. Fall Tours -- I'm looking forward to the Fall Tours, scheduled for November 14th through 17th and November 29th through December 2nd. Late fall in Southwestern Louisiana is a magical time. The Cypress trees growing in the water with their necklaces of Spanish Moss are frequently lit by glowing golden mist or shrouded in fog.
