Anticipating the Fall Tours
Fall comes late in Louisiana, with the Cypress colorful during the last two weeks of November into early December. The tours include destinations that are either accessed by power boats or on land, featuring large old-growth cypress trees growing in the water.
A variety of weather conditions provide excellent photo opportunities. Frequently on cold, still mornings, mist is over the water and by positioning the boat or yourself, the mist takes on a yellow cast. Other mornings bring heavy fog obscuring the background and allowing stunning high-key black and white and color images. Finally, more traditional fall images can be made on clear sunning days.
I hope you will join us on one of these tours.
